Keeping Ahead of the Fair Labor Standards Act Virtual Class

2016 was awash in labor and employment rules and regulations. The seminar will address what stuck and what didn’t in the world of the Fair Labor Standards Act, sick leave, pay equity, and Fair Pay Safe Workplaces. Most importantly, we will work through the requirements and pitfalls of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This class will help you to:
- Understand what regulations may apply and which of them likely do not.
- Understand the FLSA and exemption thresholds.
- Understand timekeeping rules and when you must pay overtime as a government contractor.
- Assess the impact on your contract costs and operations.
- Develop compliance strategies that work.
Continuing Education Credits
1.5 CLE/ 0.15 CEU/ 1.5 CPE credit may be earned for this course. This course is recommended for 2.0 CLP credits.
